The true is, we could not encounter the truth standing in front of us. What mostly people see, is the facade they prefer to believe. The story based on what happens to Marco and, according to what the little cutie boy once said, his beloved ''two daddies'', was called to an end. They failed to completed what so-called ''happy ending''.
After reading ''Far From the Tree: Parents, Children and the Search for Identity'', I thought of what kind of parents should be regarded as ''excellent parents'' in society? The couple, who are homosexuals, tried to adapt a child who is down's syndrome, is brave. However, the story seems to be too dramatic, sorrowful to even believe.
That is what happening all around us, though they seem to be in disguised, while the ''normal'' society could not accept them. Before we make a critical judgment on what kind of identification they are addressed, people should look on the characteristics they own, and who they are. Make a judgment based on who they are, not others think they should become.
